The ECUs can be roughly categorized into 3 “categories”:
The “powertrain” ECUs, that would include the engine, ABS/ESP, power steering… ECUs- The “car interior” ECUs, that would include the instrument cluster, the radio, the auxiliary screen… ECUs
- The "other” ECUs, that would include the airbag, blind spot sensors, wheel presure sensors… ECUs
These categories doesn't match perfectly with the IS/CONF/CAR CAN buses, as some ECUs may be on some other bus due to technical necessity.
For the ECU lists, we will use one the original, french acronyms (explained in the lists)
